RUTLAND REGIONAL EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS CENTER

The Town of Rutland is the host community to the Rutland Regional Emergency Communications Center (RRECC). The RRECC provides enhanced 911 services and dispatch services for police, fire, EMS, animal control and public works. The RRECC is the first point of reception of a 911 call, including wireless 911 calls within its service area. The RRECC answers calls for a population of almost 25,000, covering a land area of approximately 145 square miles.

The center provides these services to the following communities: Barre, Hubbardston, Oakham, Rutland, and Warren.
